Pollution becomes fatal, 28-year-old non-smoker girl diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer

Many claims have been made in the past that air pollution causes cancer. Delhi pollution has become fatal for people to breathe. A similar case has arisen against doctors, in which a 28-year-old girl was diagnosed with lung cancer. Doctors say air pollution is the main cause of cancer if a non-smoker gets cancer before the age of 30.

“This is the first case that a non-smoker has undergone lung cancer at the age of 30 and the girl has reached the fourth stage of the cancer,” said Arvind Kumar, a lung surgeon at Delhi’s Gangaram Hospital.

Dr Arvind said more about the case, “Last week, a 28-year-old girl working at an MNC (Multi National Company) in her own OPD reached out for treatment. She had previously lived in the Ghazipur area with her family for about 6 years. The family then moved to West Delhi. None of his family was smoking. But when we checked, the young woman was diagnosed with lung cancer and had reached the fourth stage.

Doctors say the pollution caused the woman to have lung cancer somewhere else.
