Apple dropped to the 4th place in a list of world’s top smartphone makers

Apple slipped to fourth place in an IHS Markit list of the world’s top smartphone makers for the second quarter of 2019.

Brands like Samsung, Huawei, and Oppo a Chinese smarphone brand have taken over the Apple.

Sales of the new iPhones have decreased recently. Because users are holding onto their older models for longer. They don’t want to spend alot money on the recent costlier iPhones.

According to IHS data, Apple sold around 35.3 million iPhones during three months to the end of the June. Covering 11% of the smartphone market. The Oppo was flawn over by shipping 36.2 million phones.

Samsung and Huawei despite it’s all trouble in the US – has shipped 75.1 and 58.7 million phones respectively and holding 23% and 18% of share market.
