Three entities bid for Jet Airways as deadline ends

Three foreign entities have submitted bids for reviving grounded Jet Airways till Saturday.

Saturday was the last day for submitting EoIs, after the time was extended for a week on August 3.

“Three bids have been received…but Etihad Airways did not submit bids this time around,”

Etihad Airways holds 24 percent stake in Jet Airways.

The deadline to submit EOI to acquire Jet Airways was extended by a week to Saturday(August 10)

Sources say the RP will examine the three EOI over the weekend before advising the next course of action. Etihad said in a statement: “This process is being managed by the resolution professional. We have no comment at this time.
