Giant crocodile spotted on roof of Belgaum house in flood-hit Karnataka

The crocodile is on the roof of a house in Belgaum in Karnataka.

The video shared on Twitter by news agency ANI, with the caption, “A crocodile lands on roof of a house in flood-affected Raybag taluk in Belgaum..”

On Sunday, the Indian Navy carried aerial rescue and relief operations in the Belgaum district of North Karnataka. Goa’s INS Hansa Naval air station’s naval helicopters rescued 26 stranded citizens and moved them to relief camps. 800 kg of food and drinking materials dropped to areas facing serious acute shortage of the supplies.

Similar visuals have surfaced from Gujarat and Maharashtra where flood fury has unfolded in the recent weeks. 

40 people killed and approx 6 lakh forced out of homes due to flood. “From 1st Aug, 40 people lost their lives, 14 people missing, 5,81,702 people evacuate, 1,168 number of relief camps set up and 17 districts and 2028 villages affected.
