Earthquake shocks were felt throughout India, including Delhi-NCR. After the earthquake, the fear of the people spread and people have left their office and home.
The magnitude of the earthquake has been measured on a Richter scale of 6.3 and its center is near Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Earthquake was the epicenter of Jatlan area of Pakistan
The place was about 173 km from Lahore. Earthquake tremors have also been felt in different parts of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh.
Tremors were also felt in Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Gurdaspur, Punjab. There have also been earthquakes in Haryana Gurugram. Ghaziabad and Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh also experienced earthquake tremors.
Eight people were reported dead, including three children, and over 100 injured in Pakistan’s 5.8 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, Reuters reported.
