Popular Telugu comedian Venu Madhav Passes away

Venu Madhav, the popular Telugu film comedian, passed away on Wednesday afternoon due to multiple health issues.

He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. He had liver and kidney disease and was taken to hospital on Tuesday if his condition worsened. The hospital confirmed that the actor was declared dead at 12.21 pm on Wednesday.

A number of fans also started pouring in death tributes for the actor. However, he is still under critical condition.

The 39-year-old actor was born in Kodad of Suryapet district. Last year, in December, he showed interest in contesting the Assembly elections and also filed nomination papers from Kodad assembly constituency.

Venu Madhav started his career as a mimicry artist. He later set foot in films as a comedian. The film was released in 1996. Later he acted in almost 200 films in Tamil and Telugu.

His last film was Dr.Paramanandaiah Students  (shot in 2016). The movie has not been released yet. In the last few years, Venu Madhav has also shown interest in politics. He also campaigned for the Telugu Desam Party.
