Poco F1 user will get MIUI 11 update

Xiaomi released the latest version of MIUI 11 at an event in chine on September 24. The smartphone manufacturer also released a list of over 40 devices that will get the MIUI 11 update but didn’t include the Pocophone F1.

However, clearing confusion Poco phone finally get the latest MIUI 11 update.

Tse took to Twitter and clarified that the list shared by Xiaomi only included the devices sold in China. Since Pocophone F1 isn’t available in China; so its name wasn’t mentioned there, but it will still be getting the MIUI 11 update.

MIUI 11 features and new changes :

MIUI 11 also comes preloaded with two new suites of office apps, called Mi Work and Mi-Go.  The Mi Work suite offers cross-platform file sharing.

Mi-Go suite is touted to include a smart travel assistant and brings a new “extreme power saving mode”, which enables a standby time of up to 24 hours with only five percent battery life.

There is also a new dynamic screen that brings a kaleidoscope effect with various patterns. Further, the skin brings a breathing light effect that offers a breathe-like experience on the display.

MIUI 11 additionally includes a document viewer and a new reminder feature. 

In case of an emergency, MIUI 11 allows users to activate an emergency mode by pressing the power button five times in a row. The mode, once activated, will send a message with location information to a preset contact and automatically dial an emergency number.
