Amitabh Bachchan discharged from hospital after tests negative for COVID-19
Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday (August 12) tested negative for coronavirus and has been discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

 Amitabh, along with Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya had tested positive for COVID19 on July 11. While Big and Abhishek were rushed to the hospital, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were kept at home in Jalsa since there were no symptoms.

He tweeted, “my father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him.”

In another tweet, the actor shared that he, however, remains Covid-19 positive. “I, unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.”

Amitabh Bachchan also took to Twitter to express his happiness about testing COVID19 positive and thanked the medical staff at Nanavati Hospital for making things easy for him. He also shared Tweet.
