Toyota Kirloskar Motor today launched the Fortuner TRD limited edition for a starting price of Rs 34.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

The bookings for the new Toyota Fortuner TRD limited edition, which has been specially designed by Toyota Racing Development for India, are now open at all the Toyota dealerships across the country.

A sportier avatar of the popular SUV, the Fortuner TRD limited edition boasts of dual-tone exteriors and interiors and is equipped with a plethora of fresh features.

Powering the new Toyota Fortuner TRD is a BS6-compliant, 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder, in-line diesel engine that belts out maximum power of 177PS and peak twisting force of 450Nm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The limited edition model is available in 4×2 AT and 4×4 AT variants. Below are the variant-wise Toyota Fortuner TRD prices ((ex-showroom, Delhi).

  • Fortuner TRD 4×2 AT Diesel – Rs 34.98 lakh
  • Fortuner TRD 4×4 AT Diesel – Rs 36.88 lakh

Both variants of the new Toyota Fortuner TRD limited edition are priced Rs 2.45 lakh over their standard counterparts.

The 2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD features a TRD radiator grille garnish, while the front bumper has been tweaked a bit.

The addition of a dual-tone roof is sure to attract more buyers. The limited edition Fortuner TRD comes with a fresh set of 18-inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels and auto-folding ORVMs. The new Toyota Fortuner TRD sports a dual-tone dashboard.

The black and maroon leather seats add to the premium quotient of the SUV. It also gets a new 360-degree panoramic view monitor and illuminated scuffle plates.

Moreover, Toyota Kirloskar Motor is providing a range of accessories with the Fortuner TRD limited edition. The customers can go for HUD (head up display), TPMS (tyre pressure monitor system), digital video recorder, wireless smartphone charger, welcome door lamp and, last but certainly not the least, air ionizer, which is first from Toyota in India.
